DRIVELINE REPAIR
We have invested in top of the line driveline repair equipment to produce the best results for our customers. Whether you need to shorten, lengthen, or replace your driveline, we have the tools and knowhow to get it done. Our motto is “If it has a driveline we can fix it.”
Most of the time if a driveline is out of balance the body of your vehicle or the seat will shake. If you suspect your driveline is out of balance or in need of repair, bring it in and we will do a free inspection. Sometimes it can be as simple as mud build up, or a broken U-joint. Either way it’s a good idea to get a professional opinion.
DRIVELINE LATHE
Our driveline lathe provides a perfect cut every time for both lengthening and shortening drive shafts. It can handle jobs from small front driveshafts, to large rear semi-truck driveshafts.
DRIVELINE BALANCER
Our driveline balancer allows us to get a perfect weld when joining the pieces of a driveline back together, after using the lathe. The driveline balancer spins the driveline as it would when driving down the road. The machine then tells the technician a balance reading, weights are welded onto the shaft to insure a perfectly balance driveshaft.
TRANSMISSION
REPAIR
We can do everything from replacing the clutch to a full transmission overhaul. A transmission fluid flush should be performed every 30,000 mi, (check your owners manual) and transmission fluid levels should be checked at least every 6 months. Currently we only work on manual transmissions.
DIFFERENTIAL
REPAIR
Differential fluid needs to be replaced every 50,000 mi (check your owners manual) if not you run the risk of having it fail. We can replace the seals or do a complete overhaul. If you see oil soaking the bottom of your differential, don’t ignore it! Bring it in and we can give you a free estimate.
TRANSFER CASE
REPAIR
The transfer case receives power from the transmission and distributes it to the front and rear axles. If your vehicle won’t go into 4-wheel drive this is likely the issue. We can perform a full transfer case rebuild on pretty much any transfer case. Transfer case fluid should be changed every 30,000 mi (check owners manual) especially if you tow or use 4×4 often.
